Your First Visit
We strive to make your visit to Valentine Medical Center as comfortable as possible. You can expect your first visit to our office to follow these standard procedures.
Step 1
You will fill out some essential paperwork to provide us with general information about you and your medical needs.

Following the consultation, your doctor will give you a thorough examination. If you are seeking treatment for a specific problem, the doctor might need to order additional tests, such as x-rays or blood tests, to achieve an accurate diagnosis.
Step 4
Once your doctor gets the results from the examination and all applicable tests, it is likely that you will receive appropriate treatment during this first visit.
Step 5
If necessary, your doctor will give you instructions on how to care for yourself at home, possibly including restricted activities, required activities, or other important information.
Step 6
Should you require another consultation with your doctor, you will schedule your next appointment before you leave the office.
After you complete your paperwork, you will have a consultation with your doctor, where you will discuss your pre-existing health conditions and any current symptoms you are experiencing, as well as any concerns you might have. At this time, your doctor will likely ask you a variety of questions to establish your medical history.
